Actress Gehna’s bail application in porn film case rejected – Bombay High Court rejects Gehna Vashisht’s anticipatory bail in pornography case

Mumbai: The Mumbai High Court on Tuesday refused to give protection to Vandana Tiwari alias Gehna Vashistha, an accused in the pornographic film case. At first glance, it seems that a big conspiracy to make obscene films has forced newcomers to indulge in obscene acts. The pre-arrest bail plea of Gehna was rejected by Sandeep Shinde.

Police have registered three FIRs in connection with pornographic films. Gehna was earlier arrested in an FIR registered in February and was released on bail almost four months later. Raj Kundra, husband of businessman and actress Shilpa Shetty, and Ryan Thorpe, IT chief in Kundra’s company, have been in jail since July 19 in the case.

Fearing arrest after an FIR was lodged against a victim who was forced to act in a pornographic film, Gehna had applied for pre-arrest bail in a sessions court. However, Judge Sonali Agarwal dismissed the application saying the allegations were “extremely serious”. Therefore, Ed. The petition was filed in the High Court through Abhishek Yende.

‘Police had arrested me earlier and they have collected all the equipment and evidence from me. So there is no need to arrest again. The complainant woman herself had come to work. He was not forced into anything. Therefore, it is wrong for the police to impose Section 370 of the Indian Penal Code on him later.” Justice Shinde, however, rejected all his arguments and refused to console him.
