Guava: During artificial insemination, the cows are treated in a scientific manner using sex classified sperms. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that in the next 10-20 years only cows will be born and bulls will be born.

Artificial insemination can be done using sex classified semen. In the following years only female calves (cows) will be born. Animal Husbandry Department has also informed about this,” Himanta Biswa Sharma said. Using graded sperm, you can determine the sex of the calf that will be in the next birth.

As reported by PTI, Himanta Biswa Sharma also cited Hindu mythology to inform about the project. Mythologically there were more cows than Hori. Only cows like Kamadhenu are mentioned in the Puranas. I mean, there must have been such a thing as a huge number of cows.

Himanta Biswa Sharma has also talked about making grocery in the tea garden. This can save the cows. In addition, beef can be used as a fertilizer for tea gardens.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma introduced the Bill for Livestock Protection Act 2021 in the Assembly. Accordingly, the sale and purchase of beef or beef products within 5 km of any temple or session (Vaishnava Math) is prohibited in areas where Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and other non-beef communities reside.

This is a unique feature of the Assam Livestock Protection Bill, 2021. It aims to control the “slaughter, consumption and illegal transport” of livestock. Sharma had earlier said that the Assam Livestock Protection Act of 1950 lacked adequate legal provisions to “regulate the slaughter, consumption and transport of cattle”.
