Minister Shobha Karandlaje meets district officials through video conferencing from Delhi
New Delhi: For the first time after becoming the Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Shobha Karandlaje has held a video conference with the district secretaries. Today at 9 am, he went to his office at Krishi Bhawan in Delhi and held a video conference with the officials of Udupi and Chikkamagaluru districts and senior district level officials. In such a situation, information has been received about continuous rain in Malnadu region for the last few days.
Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje has set the record for the highest rainfall in both the districts so far. The minister also directed the officials to take immediate action to ensure that the rains continue for the next few days.
Speaking later, he discussed the rain in the district, rainy season, covid management, preparations for the third wave of the district and the Central Award Scheme.
