Complaint filed in police station against Kareena Kapoor accusing her of hurting religious sentiments

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has been embroiled in controversies for the past few days. Her recently published book Pregnancy Bible, which initially demanded the highest honorarium, has once again been embroiled in controversy. A police complaint has been lodged against Kareena for hurting the religious sentiments of the Christian community in the name of the book.

Ashish Shinde, president of Alpha Omega Christian Federation, has lodged a complaint with the Shivajinagar police station in Beed regarding the name of the book. According to the complaint, ‘Pregnancy Bible’ is authored by Kareena Kapoor and Aditi Shah Bhimjani and the book is published by Juggernaut Books.

According to Shinde, the holy word ‘Bible’ is used in the title of the book. Due to which the sentiments of Christians have been hurt. They have demanded registration of a case against Kareena and two others under section 295-A of the IPC. Meanwhile, a police officer has admitted that a complaint has been registered in this regard but also clarified that no FIR has been registered.

Inspector Sainath Thombre, in-charge of Shivajinagar police station, told PTI, “We have received a complaint in this regard. However, no FIR has been registered. Because this incident is not from here. I have advised him to go to Mumbai and file a complaint.

Meanwhile, Kareena’s book ‘Pregnancy Bible’ was published on July 9. Kareena says that this book is her third child. He had made various posts on social media promoting the book. According to Kareena, her personal life is mentioned in the book. As such, it refers to what she experienced during her pregnancy on both a physical and an emotional level.
