Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurates Hyundai unit
Automotive manufacturer Hyundai Motors Rs. 2000 crore investment in Haryana, Haryana’s Manohar Lal Khattar’s Managing Director Kenya Ayukawa and Hyundai’s business rival Maruti Suzuki were also present at the event. Korean company Hyundai has opened a mega-corporate office in Gurugram. The office will be the headquarters of Hyundai Company in India. This new office is spread over 28,000 square feet. 1000 crores in the last three years.
The place has 14 charging units for electric vehicles, 50 kW solar panels on the roof and over 400 square meters of green wall. Plans are underway to build another similar facility. This is also an investment project of 1000 crores.
Speaking to SSKim, CEO and MD, Hyundai, he said that with the commitment to the people and the environment, this head office is the main center of inventions and development of the people and the prosperity of the land. Maruti Suzuki plans to invest Rs 18,000 crore to set up an annual capacity unit of 10 lakh units in Haryana. As per that plan, it will move to a much larger and more modern production plant than the existing Maruti Suzuki plant in Gurugram.
