Vikrant made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the film ‘Lootera’. In an interview given to a news channel, Vikrant said, ‘When someone tells me that you cannot do this, then I do. When I decided to go into films, my parents stopped me and told me to get my degree first. I was 24 then. Even after working on TV for 10 years, I kept realizing that I was not using my full potential. After joining Bollywood, I was ridiculed because I was a TV actor.

In an interview to a radio channel, Vikrant said, “Two days before the film started, a producer dropped me from the film. It happened twice. The workshops for the film have started. You read the story of the film. Work hard for that role. Producers take care of you and suddenly one day you are thrown out of the film. That experience is very bad. But I didn’t stop. I have done it.’ Vikrant was earlier in ‘Dil Dhadakne’ Do’, ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, ‘A Death in the Ganj’ and ‘Chhapaak’. Vikrant will soon be seen in the film ’14 Phere’ on ZEE5.
